As our celebration of GA PreK Week comes to a close, we’re excited to share some great news about the Tift County Pre-K program! Recent GKIDS (Georgia Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills) Readiness assessment data shows that students from Tift County Pre-K classrooms are entering kindergarten better prepared than their peers from other Georgia Pre-K programs or those who didn’t attend Pre-K. We are extremely proud of our young learners and the incredible work being done to set them up for success! #4theT

Spotlight on Danielle White: Principal of Northside Elementary
Danielle White, principal of Northside Elementary, brings over two decades of experience to her role as a dedicated educator and leader. Originally from Mastic Beach (Long Island) New York, she is a 1993 graduate of Arlington High School and has been in education for 26 years, with 7 years as a principal.
Mrs. White is supported by her family—her husband, Darren, and their four children: Walker, Austin, Delia, and Dillan. Together, they provide the foundation that allows her to balance the demands of her career with her personal life.
For Mrs. White, the most rewarding part of her job is watching both her students and teachers grow in their knowledge and skills. Seeing those moments of growth and development brings her immense satisfaction, knowing that her work has a lasting impact.
However, the role of principal also comes with significant challenges. Mrs. White finds it particularly tough to try and be everything to everyone—students, staff, and parents alike. The desire to be more than enough for those she serves weighs on her, but it's driven by her deep love for what she does and who she does it with.
Mrs. White’s leadership at Northside Elementary continues to foster a positive learning environment where both students and staff are encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive. Her passion for education and her commitment to her school community are at the heart of her success as a principal.

Reflecting on her career, Dr. Morrow shared that the most rewarding part of her role is witnessing the joy and excitement of her students each day. Whether it's seeing a student reach an academic milestone, sharing a high-five, or simply observing them enjoy the school environment surrounded by caring educators, she finds immense fulfillment in these moments. She also cherishes the connections built with her students, noting how special it is when they transition to other schools but still remember the small, meaningful experiences from their time at Annie Belle Clark or Northside.
