Protecting personal information is a shared responsibility. On National Data Privacy Day, we’re reminding students, staff, and families how important it is to keep information safe—both online and offline.
Strong passwords, being cautious with emails and links, and protecting student and family data help keep our schools secure. When we work together to practice good digital habits, we help create a safer learning environment for everyone.

With below-freezing temperatures expected over the next few days, we want to remind parents and guardians to please send students to school dressed warmly each day.
✅ Bundle up with layers:
• Heavy coat
• Hat
• Gloves
• Warm socks
• Extra layers as needed
🚌 Bus Riders:
If possible, students should wait inside until 5 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time to limit time in the cold. Being dressed appropriately is especially important in case of unexpected delays.
Thank you for helping us keep our students safe, warm, and ready to learn!

Through this partnership, students will have increased access to licensed mental health professionals who can provide counseling and support —right here in our school community. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to the well-being of every student and to creating safe, supportive environments where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are grateful for this opportunity to work together in supporting the whole child.
Thank you GaDOE for listening to our concerns and acknowledging the importance of providing service opportunities to our students in need. We hope to expand this service to all students in the near future.

From first letters to final signatures, handwriting is a skill that grows with practice and creativity. On National Handwriting Day, we celebrate our students who are learning to form letters, express ideas, and build confidence—one handwritten word at a time.
Take a moment today to pick up a pen or pencil and write a note, a goal, or a kind message. Sometimes the most meaningful words are the ones written by hand.
