Tift County was well represented at the Georgia Migrant Education Summer Program held last week at Valdosta State University! 💙📚
Our high school students participated in academic sessions including writing, astronomy, math, STEM, business engineering, study skills, and career exploration. They also enjoyed extracurricular activities like art, ropes courses, swimming lessons, and soccer.

Summer Learning Enrichment - Students enjoyed their first art project. The project was called, "Hands Down, You're the Best." Students created a heartfelt handprint bouquet filled with love and kind words to celebrate someone special. It’s a colorful way to say, ‘You’re the best!’—hands down! 🌞 Yesterday marked the first day of our Summer Feeding Program—and what a great start it was! Over 2,500 meal bags were distributed, each filled with 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches to help keep our students nourished through the summer.
To make it even more special, children in grades PreK–5 also received age-appropriate books with their meals. We are proud to offer this opportunity to feed both mind and body as our students continue LEARNING UNDER THE SUN! 🌻📚🍎

🚌Tift County Bus Drivers recently gathered for their annual End-of-the-Year Luncheon, celebrating a year of hard work and dedication.
During the event, special recognition was given to 24 drivers who maintained perfect attendance throughout the school year. These individuals were presented with a bonus in appreciation of their outstanding commitment.
