K-12 Assessment Solutions

Tifton, GA - Tift County Schools is proud to announce the continued expansion of its partnership with K-12 Assessment Solutions to develop a comprehensive, standards-aligned benchmark assessment system across grades 6–12, with continued expansion into middle grades English Language Arts and additional supports for high school End-of-Course (EOC) assessments.

This multi-year partnership is focused on designing high-quality benchmark assessments that measure student learning and mastery of Georgia’s K–12 standards. These assessments are intentionally built to reflect the rigor and depth of knowledge (DOK) required by the standards, while ensuring appropriate coverage of instructional content to support student success.

“K–12 Assessment Solutions is committed to partnering with Tift County Schools to develop high-quality benchmark assessments that provide meaningful insights into student learning,” said a representative from K-12 Assessment Solutions. “These assessments will help identify areas of challenge and guide instructional next steps, ensuring students are well-prepared for the Georgia Milestones Assessment System.”

These resources will further support teachers in preparing students for success by offering targeted practice aligned to course standards.

“This partnership strengthens our ability to support both teachers and students with high-quality, aligned resources,” said Jennifer Howell, Deputy Superintendent of Teaching and Learning. “By expanding into EOC practice items, we are giving our students additional opportunities to engage with rigorous content and build confidence ahead of state assessments.”

“Our focus is ensuring that assessments truly reflect the standards and the level of thinking we expect from students,” said Djana Goss, Secondary Curriculum Director. “Through this partnership, we are able to provide teachers with high-quality items that align to the depth and rigor of the standards, while also giving students meaningful practice that prepares them for success on EOC assessments.”

The expanded partnership reflects Tift County Schools’ ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and to providing equitable access to high-quality instructional and assessment resources for all students. This work directly supports the district’s instructional framework of Plan, Instruct, Assess, and Adjust, ensuring assessment remains an integral part of the teaching and learning process.
