Students from Eighth Street Middle School competed at the National FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Convention in June. Of the 10 students that competed, five placed in the Top 5. These students were recognized at tonight’s Board of Education meeting for their outstanding accomplishment and their Relentless Pursuit of a Culture of Excellence.
The students that were recognized are:
Mylee Martin - 3rd Place Career Exploration
Avery Weaver and Jayda Harrell - 3rd Place Annual Chapter Activities and Presentations
Riya Naikare and Leah McMurphy - 4th Place Business Ethics
Their advisor was Laural Mullen.
