On Wednesday, November 8th the Parent Advisory Committee for the Tift County Migrant Education Program held their first meeting of the year. The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) and High School Equivalency Program (HEP) from ABAC sent representatives to speak to the group as well as the CAMP Program for Valdosta State University.
Tift County Migrant staff did an impressive job planning this event. Dr. Michael Slaven shared with parents about the services that are provided by the Migrant Service Providers employed by TCS. Translators were available to assist for families that needed this service.
