HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to our Students, Staff and Blue Devil Families! #4theT

"I feel strongly that children are our future. They need a solid education that gives them the skills they need to keep on learning throughout their lives. Their educational setting should mirror the racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity that makes up their environment." A proud product of Tift County Schools, Dr. Kim Ezekiel graduated from Tift County High School in 1977 before continuing her education at Albany State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. She later completed her doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Ezekiel dedicated 30 years to education, beginning as a 4th-grade teacher at Charles Spencer, Northside, and Annie Belle Clark Elementary Schools. Over nine years, she taught Kindergarten through 4th grade before transitioning into leadership roles, serving as a Title I Parent Coordinator, Title I Director, and ultimately, principal of Len Lastinger Elementary for 13 years. Her passion for education extended beyond the classroom as she served on the Tift County School Board for over four years. Today, she continues to make an impact in education through her work with the Georgia Department of Education. She also has a personal connection to Tift County Schools as the proud guardian of a first-grade student at Len Lastinger Elementary. Dr. Ezekiel’s lifelong dedication to education and her commitment to the success of all students exemplify the spirit of Tift County. #4theT

🌟 Tift County 4-H Shines at Southwest District Project Achievement! 🌟
Over the weekend, Tift County High School students competed at the Southwest District 4-H Project Achievement contest at Rock Eagle 4-H Center, joining hundreds of students from 41 counties across the district! These students put in countless hours crafting a portfolio—similar to a résumé—that highlights their 4-H involvement, school activities, leadership, and service, along with a 10-12 minute speech using visual aids in front of a panel of judges.
We are PROUD to announce that Max Nelson (10th grade) placed 1st in the Computer Information and Technology project! Because of this incredible achievement, Max has earned the opportunity to compete at the state level in July at 4-H State Congress!
Please join us in congratulating Max on this well-deserved success!
