Our staff members continue to Relentlessly Pursue a Culture of Excellence. As part of their teacher work day this week, staff members in Grades 6 - 12 participated in the inaugural "Boosting Blue Chip Talent" conference. Teachers came together to review and align curriculum across grade levels and participated in workshops covering a variety of topics to improve the instruction of their standards. #4theT

We are aware that schools south of us have made a decision to close tomorrow and Friday. We have received no information at this time leading us to make that decision for Tift County Schools. The latest updates on Hurricane Ian show it continues to move northeastward and has slowed down which should lessen the impact that is felt here in Tifton; however, we are still possibly in the path for strong winds.
