The agriculture students celebrated National Soil Day that was hosted by the Soil and Water Conservation Society. They went to the Ag Center in Tifton to learn about the importance of cover crops and maintaining healthy soils. They got to see soil science research going on at the University of Georgia. We enjoyed the opportunity for our students to have hands on learning opportunities in our community.
