In our Relentless Pursuit of a Culture of Excellence, the 2022 REACH Scholars were recognized at a Signing Day Ceremony on March 22, 2022. These five students, selected from a large applicant pool, earned the REACH scholarship which begins in 8th grade. Students must maintain good grades (a 2.5 GPA in core courses), behavior, and attendance throughout high school. Upon successful completion of the program these students will receive a $10,000 scholarship towards their educational costs at a University System of Georgia or Technical College System of Georgia institution or an eligible private postsecondary institution.
This year’s REACH Scholarship recipients are: Carmen Carrera (ESMS), Vaniyah Golson (ESMS), Kassie Hill (ESMS), Ahnaniyah Roberson (NEMS) and Jaedyn Smith (NEMS).
The REACH scholarships are made possible by donations from our partners: The Jay Deason Fund, Colony Bank, Southwest Georgia Bank and Tenneson Nissan.
