TIFTON, GA:
Tift County Schools is pleased to share that the Tift County Board of Education voted to extend Governor Brian Kemp’s one-time $2,000 employee supplement in his Amended FY26 State Budget to all Tift County employees.
While the state funding is designated for specific eligible positions, the Tift County Board of Education has voted to extend this supplement to all eligible district employees using local funds. This decision reflects the Board’s continued commitment to recognizing the hard work and dedication of every staff member across our system.
Staff who were employed by TCS as of March 31, 2026, will be eligible to receive the supplement. Full-time employees will receive the full $2,000 payment, while part-time employees will receive $1,000.
At this time, the supplement is scheduled to be paid through the April payroll.
We are grateful for the Governor’s support of education and appreciative of the Board’s action to ensure that all Tift County Schools employees are recognized for their contributions to our students and community.
