At tonight’s meeting of the Tift County Board of Education, Joshua Bowyer was approved as the new Director of Facilities for Tift County Schools. Mr. Bowyer will officially assume the role on May 1.
Mr. Bowyer currently serves the district as a LAN/WAN Technician and Manager of the Tift County High School Performing Arts Center, where he has played an important role in supporting district technology, facilities operations, and major events. In his new position, he will oversee the maintenance and management of school facilities across the district.
He brings a wealth of experience in construction, facilities management, and media operations, along with a reputation for strong people skills, effective problem-solving, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in fast-paced, multifaceted environments.
“We are excited to see Joshua step into this role,” said Superintendent Natalie Gore. “His technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to Tift County Schools make him a great fit to lead our facilities team as we continue supporting the needs of our students, staff, and community.”
