Dear Students and Parents:

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Matt Wilson Elementary School, home of the "Warriors," where our motto is, "A new day. A new beginning." I am delighted that you will be part of a school that is committed to ensuring you the opportunity to experience success while gaining the necessary skills you will need to be a productive citizen in our society.

As a student, I challenge you to make the most of each opportunity you are given. In addition, you are expected to attend school each day, be prepared for your classes, and most importantly - conduct yourself in a respectable and responsible manner.

As a parent, I challenge you to be an active participant in your child's education. Your child will experience success at a greater level with your help and support. After all, it will take all of us to make this happen.

Become familiar with the Matt Wilson handbook. Knowing the policies will help you to have a positive experience while you are here. If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding any policy or procedure, please feel free to give me a call.
