Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year at Matt Wilson Elementary School!  We welcome returning students and new students from Annie Belle Clark, Len Lastinger, and J. T. Reddick schools.  

Matt Wilson was constructed in 1957 and has served the students of Tift County as a high school, middle school and an elementary school.  With the recent realignment of grades 4-6, Matt Wilson will begin the next phase in its rich history by serving students in grades 4 and 5. 

The staff at Matt Wilson Elementary has been realigned with the grade levels and welcomes 21 new staff members, transferring from J. T. Reddick and Charles Spencer.  We are committed to work together to provide a safe and academically challenging school environment for all students.

We look forward to helping our students learn and grow at Matt Wilson.  Parents, we encourage your participation in your child’s education.  Working together, we will make this an exciting and successful school year for each student.
