Staff Book Club
“One who learns from one who is learning drinks from a flowing fountain.”
A group of Matt Wilson staff members decided in May 2004 to set an example for students of how much fun reading and talking about reading could be. The staff book club, coordinated by media staff, collaborated on a list of books and planned their first meeting: a trip to St. Simons Lighthouse after reading Eugenia Price’s historical novel, Lighthouse.
The club meets monthly at area restaurants and takes occasional road trips. Staff members and former staff members are invited to join.
