Postsecondary Option is a program of study allowing students to receive dual credit for a course taken on the campus of the college, university during the high school day. Unit credit at TCHS and postsecondary credit hours from the Georgia public college, university, or technical college is awarded after successful completion of the course(s).

College requirements for PSO vary by college. ABAC requirements are:

• Minimum of 970 SAT combined with a 530 verbal or 21 ACT of an ACT English score of at least 24.
• GPA of 3.000 in core academics at TCHS as calculated by the college.

Must complete College Preparatory Curriculum or be on track with the only exception being 4th English, participating in the Youth Apprenticeship Program.
