1. Have parent or guardian write and sign an excuse giving name, date, days of absence, reason for absence, and phone number.
2. Present excuse to your homeroom teacher on the day of your return to school.
3. If a student forgets his/her note, he/she will have three (3) days in which to bring it to change the absence to excused. OTHERWISE, IT WILL REMAIN AN UNEXCUSED ABSENCE.
4. If there are reasons (other than approved by board policy) for student absences from the school, the parent or guardian should notify the school prior to the absence.
