Sixth Street Academy is an alternative school in Tift County that serves students who experience difficulty succeeding in the regular classroom setting.  As our motto states, students aim to achieve, with the assistance of our teachers, to become successful.  We currently enroll students in grades six through twelve.   Our middle school students are engaged in Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.  Available to high school students include a wide variety of computer based courses through Nova Net.  In addition, high school teachers supplement the computer based programs with content material from many different resources.  Students are engaged in learning throughout the day.
