Credit Recovery

Attempts are being made within the Tift County School System to develop programs to improve both graduation and attendance rates. One type of program is credit recovery. Credit Recovery programs at 6th Street Academy form smaller learning communities by creating schools within a school. Credit recovery programs seem to be distinct from alternative programs designed for students who need to be in a setting other than standard education for the majority of their school career. 6th Street’s Credit Recovery program serves different populations of students with different needs, ensuring success for all.
