Students explore and create art using a variety of media with our Art Education program.

Sixth grade students will use clay and molds to create beautiful slab pottery. Ceramics projects are always some of the students’ favorite activities. After ceramics, students will use watercolors and tempera to paint two identical paintings in the theme of their choice. The two paintings will then be cut and woven together to make one beautifully textured and colored painting. Each sixth grade student enrolled in art will want to bring an old, large shirt for covering up during painting.
