Welcome!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to another great year at Omega Elementary School.  As a novice principal, I am very excited about the new challenges ahead.  I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize to the parents of Omega School the importance of you participating in your child’s educational development.  As always, Omega School has an exceptional parental support system and we would like to maintain this partnership.  Our number one goal at Omega School is to teach our students to be successful independent learners by reading above grade level and maintaining grade level performance in math.  I strongly encourage you to stay active in your child’s academic endeavors, both at school and home.  Likewise, our Omega Staff will do our part in helping the students to rise to the occasion.  Each year, our staff works diligently to up the ante, which our test scores generally exemplify our efforts.  By working as a team, Omega School continues to shine. 

Our goal for this year is to continue working hard in increasing our student test scores, especially in the area of math.  By having high academic expectations for your child, checking your child’s homework daily, and communicating with your child’s teacher, we will be able to meet this goal.  We look forward to working with you and your family this year.  So, let’s get on board to make 2010-11 the best year ever!
