OMEGA SCHOOL FIFTH GRADERS TAKE 2-DAY STATE TOUR

TIFT COUNTY PRE-K STUDENTS FIND THE KEYS TO LEARNING MATH

Teacher Lisa Lovett’s Pre-K class at Omega Elementary School spent their small group time recently counting keys and matching the numbers written on their plates. Student Belle Webb said, "I have the number five, and I need five keys." Pre-K students in the small group were Lauren Perez, Belle Webb, Miguel Gomez, Josephine Ventura, Esmeralda Licea, Diana Gomez, Amaya McDaniel and Chris Turner.
OMEGA ELEMENTARY THIRD GRADERS GET HANDS-ON FOR THE HARVEST

Teacher Robin Knight’s third grade class at Omega Elementary School toured the Seed Survivor by Agrium on February 28 and learned all about where vegetables come from and how they are planted, cared for, and harvested. The third graders also played interactive games inside the mobile unit, all which dealt with the various aspects of farming.
