WAL MART'S 2010 NATIONAL TEACHER RECOGNITION
Omega School would like to say "Thank You" to Wal Mart for selecting our school as their 2010 National Teacher Recognition Winner. Representatives of Wal Mart, Ms Charolette, Mr. Kenneth, and Ms Diana presented funds of $1000.00 in gift cards to ten lucky teachers. With these gift cards the teachers have the opportunity to purchase additional supplies needed to enhance instruction and provide a more positive atmosphere within their classroom.

Omega School receives grant money
Target Helping Schools,
Inspiring Students
When you shop at Target, you help support our community. Since 1946, Target has pledged to give five percent of their income to the communities they serve. The Target distribution centers carry on this tradition by making local education grants. Omega School was lucky enough to receive three of these grants totaling $2,550.00. In addition to this Target makes a yearly donation from their red card project. Next time you're in Target ask how you can sign up for Target’s red card.
We also would like to thank Ms. Jan Kitchens, Ms. Kelli Miller, Ms. Carolyn Pate, Ms. Debra Rodgers, and Ms. Betty Newkirk for writing and submitting these grants.
