Student of the Month

Student of the Month is a program at Northside Primary that recognizes students for their hard work in academics, citizenship, and behavior in the classroom.  Students are nominated each month by their teachers.  They are honored at a special pizza luncheon and receive a certificate, t-shirt, and water bottle.  The luncheon is sponsored by our partners in education.  Pizza is provided by CiCi’s Pizza.  Cupcakes and drinks are donated by Piggly Wiggly.  T-shirts are given by Dr. Paul Murray.

Nine Week Perfect Attendance Award

Students with perfect attendance for an entire nine weeks (including 0 tardies and 0 early checkouts) are rewarded by given a Papa John’s 6 inch pizza coupon.  Names are then entered into a drawing for the BIKE program.  Stafford Development donates one bicycle to the winner of the drawing each nine weeks.

AR Awards

Students are recognized on the morning television announcements for achieving various Accelerated Reader point levels.  They are given a ribbon and a prize.  In addition, at the end of the year, the person in each class with the most AR points will receive a certificate.  The student with the most points in each grade will receive a medal.  The student in the school with the most AR points will receive a prize and a framed certificate.  Classes with the most points in each grade level will receive a framed certificated to keep in their classroom.  The class with the highest total number of points will keep the school’s AR trophy for the next school year and have their class’ name imprinted on a plaque displayed in the school’s foyer.
