Internet use

• All students have access to the Internet unless a parent/guardian objects in writing
• The Internet is for school research only
• No going to inappropriate sites

Computer use

• For school work only
• Deliberate destruction, vandalism, etc. will result in losing computer privileges
• Jump drives, disks, and CDs from home must be scanned before being inserted into computers
• Keep 3 1/2" diskettes and CDs in protective sleeves when not in use

Home Directories

• Individual student login with password
• Example: John Allen Smith would be jasmith.student
• Password is your 5 digit Schoolmax number
• You MUST remember your password

Printers

• School printers are for school printing only
• Know which printer is the destination printer
• Do a "print preview" before printing
• Do a "spell check" before printing
