A Parent Liaison was re-instated in November 2003. Referrals come from EIP, Reading Recovery, or classroom teachers throughout the year. The referrals identify the student’s needs in Reading or Math. The Liaison prepares home learning materials, games, books, videos, etc. based on students need. The Liaison also contacts parents, explains materials to use at home. Workshops are conducted with parents to assist them in enhancing their child’s education.
