TCHS Students Bring Home State Championships in Literary Meet
“Jim Murray and Catherine Roe represented TCHS and Region 1AAAAA recently in the State Literary Meet at Northside High School in Warner Robins. They swept both the girls’ and boys’ essay contests and brought home the state championships!” exclaimed Debbie Salter, AP English teacher and department head at TCHS. “At the state level they competed against the best writers from every other AAAAA region in the state,” she proudly added.
Eighth Street Students Advance to State FFA Competition
Ashley Dodson of team Gemini competed in the Area FFA Creed Speaking CDE March 26th at ABAC. She was one of two FFA members from Area V who was selected to advance to the state Creed Speaking competition to be held at the Georgia FFA Convention in Macon on April 25th!
