Eighth Street Middle School will become a school of excellence for all students that focuses on a challenging curriculum through the use of measurable data-driven goals.

Through collaboration of the community, parents, students, and teachers, we will set high expectations utilizing the use of advance technology in standard-based classrooms by providing rigorous and relevant learning activities that prepare students for all standardized tests; including CRCT, 8th grade Writing Test and ITBS. By 2014, Eighth Street Middle School will have 100% of it students meeting or exceeding standards mandated by state and federal guidelines.

Eighth Street Middle School will foster responsibility encouraging 100% attendance of students and teachers in a positive, well-disciplined and family oriented environment. Teachers will encourage participation in extra-curricular activities which will help students develop lifelong relationships with peers preparing them for active roles in the community.
