Teacher Jodi Roberts’ first grade class at G.O. Bailey Primary School had a visit from The Cat in the Hat on Read Across America Day recently, and he read his favorite book to the class…which was ”The Cat in the Hat,” of course! Students were also visited by Ricky Reader, official mascot of the Accelerated Reader program.
