FOOD SERVICE EMPLOYEE WINS CULINARY COMPETITION

Marie Womack, Food Assistant at Matt Wilson Elementary School, recently won two first place awards at the district culinary competition held in Brooks County. She placed second in the third category. She now advances to the state wide competition with judging to be conducted by chefs at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta. State wide winners will be announced in Athens in April.
