FAQ

What is a Tift Academy student?
A Tift Academy student is any student taking two or more online courses off-campus or any student that takes 100% of Tift County courses off-campus (for instance, a MOWR student may take 3 courses at ABAC and 1 online, off-campus course; this student is a Tift Academy student).

If I take an online course, am I enrolled in Tift Academy?
All students are allowed to take one online course; acceptance into Tift Academy is not required.

How do I apply for admittance?
Students may request admittance through their counselor. Approval is based upon the counselor application, approval from base school administrator, and approval from the Online Learning Coordinator. Students may submit requests through the Tift Academy Admissions Form.

Where do I take my courses?
Tift Academy courses are completely virtual; students complete course work off-campus.
