Summer AR - Annie Belle Clark is Top Dog!!!

The Tift County Foundation for Educational Excellence awarded Annie Belle Clark $1073 for being the “top dog” in the 2010 Summer Reading program. The award was extremely appropriate since the school’s mascot is a bull dog and the school received 7028 accelerated reader (AR) points with 50% of teachers and staff earning at least 10 AR points for the summer. Almost 3000 books were read this summer by Annie Belle Clark students, staff and friends. Top summer readers are Geni Cook (1st grade Teacher), Meagan Taylor (3rd grade student) and Stacy Heard as a friend.

• Perfect Attendance Awards

  Students at Annie Belle Clark are rewarded often for perfect attendance. Each month students with perfect attendance are rewarded with different prizes ranging from pencils, ice cream, bookmarks, etc. At the end of the nine weeks, students with perfect attendance receive a coupon from Papa John’s for a free personal pizza. These students are then entered into a drawing for a bicycle and helmet donated by Cici’s Pizza through their BIKE program (Building Incentives for Kid’s Education).

• Box Tops for Education
  Last year our school raised $571.00. Please continue to collect Box Tops for Education. Also, we are now collecting Soup Labels for Education. The class that turns in the most will be rewarded with a treat from PTO.
