Relay for Life
For the first time, the Tift County Pre-K Center participated in Relay for Life.
Through the hard work of all of our students and their families, we were able to raise over $2600!!!
This was done through several activities: Coins for a Cure, Footprints to Friendship, Pie for Pre-K and several activities with our faculty and staff.
Our fundraising came to an end on April 17th when we had our Relay for Life parade and recognized all of our students for their accomplishments.
As a closing gesture, our new Teacher of the Year, Miss Melissa Rainey, got two whipped cream pies in the face. Of course, her fellow staff members were responsible for this one as they were allowed to vote for the faculty member that they wanted to see get creamed. Votes were $5 each and the money raised went to Relay for Life.
