The G.O. Bailey Primary School Media Center is centrally located between the main hallways.  The media center is bright and colorful and decorated in   a garden theme that has a lot of visual appeal to students.  Of course the garden theme is part of our media center slogan “We Grow Readers.”

The media center is open to students from 8:00 until 3:05 each day.  Students are allowed to make daily visits to check out up to 3 books.  Story times and library lessons are scheduled weekly for all grades.    An active Accelerated Reader program thrives here.  The prize program is designed to encourage students to read library books within a targeted reading range and to achieve a high level of accuracy in quiz scores.

A fall and spring Book Fair are held each year.  The media center goes all out in decorating and promoting the fairs!  Every effort is made to insure that affordable books are available to all students.
